RESEARCH TRIP

Research trips are always exciting ...........one never knows what to expect. Naturally, the excursion or study aims for specific findings and a successful outcome, however, there is also the unexpected, which can provide additional ideas for the concept. Currently, the assignment of our client is in its initial stages. Funding, permissions, contracts and solutions to deliver the plan must be agreed with the involved parties in order to move forward. We are bound by confidentiality clauses and hope to report in more details in 2020.

EVALUATION OF TWO ARCHIVE DONATIONS FOR A NATIONAL INSTITUTION IN AUSTRALIA

In the past few months we were engaged to assess and evaluate two archives of high-profile individuals. It was an intimate task, reading personal letters to friends, family members and business associates as well as viewing photographs and other memorabilia.  This process offers the examiner or archivist an exclusive insight into a person's life,  becoming privy to their relationships with different individuals, their work and legacy …. getting to know them on a very intense personal level.

MAGIC SUMMERTIME - DIANA KRILOVA - ARTIST IN FOCUS - AUGUST 2019

Diana Krilova’s recent paintings are an examination of both motherhood and nature. They embody her delight of combining maternity with creating alluring sceneries. Her artistic practice is simple, she watches her children frolic and sketches, photographs and does primary research on location. Initial ideas are translated into monotone illustrations either in red or yellow oil on canvas, which then evolve into larger scale colour representations.
