Traditionally the training for visual arts students has consisted mainly of the study of art history, drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic, photography and so on, as well as the experimentation with innovative materials and challenging ideas. This focus provides the student with the knowledge and experience to practice and develop his or her personal artistic talents. The talk explores different aspects of an artists career and how to advance in a fast-moving international art market.
