Following conversations with academics from Durham University in disciplines ranging from soft-matter physics to biochemistry to vulcanology, Carr has been exploring the structure and geometry found in nature through origami and crystal growth. She is planning to combine this research with her previous work with sacred geometry and biomorphic drawing constructions. The planned 2D works will utilise the heliotropism of plants to mimic the organic and geometric structures in sacred geometry while using fungi as collaborators during their sporing cycle to produce geometric works.
